Happy Pi Day!

Okay, I'm not a math nerd and don't know pi beyond 3.14 but any excuse to consume baked goods I'm not going to pass up! By the way, I DID enjoy a good pie today, two different kinds in fact...coconut pineapple (not so great) and cherry (always a good choice). It was much more beautiful in Chicago today, still cold but sunny which I'm not going to complain about :) It's definitely getting closer to spring, the first day of Daylight Savings has me a little out of whack but still, that means more hours of daylight and warm weather around the corner!

By the way, enjoying a pretty decent bottle of wine that was surprisingly good for being only $3.00...Rene Barbier Catalunya, it's a white which isn't my usual selection (I'm more of a red wine drinker) but it's pretty tasty, no complaints here!

Pi Day is huge at my work. The last time it was on a work day we had a huge party for it at the executive editor's clubhouse. They even forced us to sing a Pi Day song. Fun times. Working with mathematicians has its moments, that's for sure.

I am all about cherry pie. Or cobbler. yum!

Btw, I just learned of your blog. I'll be sure to follow ;P
